Installing BaseLine EhP7 - problem with BP-SOLBLD
Hi gurus,
I have a problem with baseline installation.
After ERP 6.0 setup, Ive updated whole system with solman, updated all packages to new versions. Now, when im installing package with BP-SOLBLD i receive this msg:
In 1301301 ive found, that i should use BP-SOLBLD 70V9 package, but @ swdc i can find only this package. Could you please tell me where I can find this package or what should I do now?

Changes to LX50GU01 are forbidden by SAP* - note 943783
Hi gurus,
im installing baseline package for EhP 7 and I have problem with note 943783 implementation. During implementation, I receive this message: Changes to LX50GU01 are forbidden by SAP*. I tried logging into SAP* account, but from there I cant implement note, I tried unlock code in SE37, but I get only message Source text of an EXIT func cannot be chgd, I tried ABAP program to clear edit lock mark from note 71837, but is too old and its not working. What should I try next?

PREP_INPUT/SELSTACKXML_ASK! The system cannot find the path
Good day
I am busy upgradeing the ECC QA system from ECC 5 to ECC6 EHP6. I have performed the MOPZ and got all the files downloaded. In the "initial software extractio" phase I got an error "download directory contains characters ','which lead to problems with tools please change". It had me puzzled for a while but the directory name contained spaces. And so I changed all the spaces to underscores (_) and that went through.
But now I am at a further point and getting a problem still in the "software extraction" phase where it is not recognizing the directory name and it seems that is now due to the fact that I changed the directory name during the process (ie. I changed the spaces to underscores). I am concerned that if I change the directory name back to the original it could cause problems as warned about in the earlier message.
Can advise please on a "safe" method to get past this problem please?

EHP7 Upgrade with kernel 740 Sp37
Hi All,
We have done successfully upgrade from ERP 6.0 to EHP6 sp09 and Now we have decide to go with EHP7 update fro two scenerios 1. From ERP 6.0 (kernel 700) to ERP6.0 EHP7 (Kernel 740) and 2 ERP 6.0 to EHP6 sp09 (kernel 721_EXT) to ERP6.0 EHP7 (Kernel 740). . here I have Two queries.

EHP7 for ERP6.0 with SP03
In that Mopz proposed EHP7 for ERP6.0 SP03 is available only for support pack update only. It suggest the note 1949802 which I am not able to get as MOPZ is still generating valid XML to update ERP6.0 EHP7 sp03
EHP7 for ERP6.0 with SP02
It gives the kernel 740 patch SP27, I was reading some SCN discussions of kernel SP27 is having some bugs and gives issue during preprocessing phase and update will have to reset. So I want to use Kernel 740 SP37, so how to achieve this as Mopz is not giving the option to select the latest kernel. I am afraid to modify the stack.xml file.
2. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One more query is in phase Extraction I got error "the new SAP tools in /usr/sap/MES/SUM/abap/exe cannot connect to your database".
Which I believe is because of SSFS is not configured in source kernel. So question is how to configure this for Kernel 740 at this stage (after extraction).
SAP Note 1622837 says if your source kernel is 7.0x then two options --- option b says start with SUM and after error in Extraction Install SSFS with kernel 7.40 that is already unpacked. So how can I configure the SSFS with 740 as source system kernel is still running under 700

upgrade 46C to ECC EHP7 one way
Hello,
we want to upgrade our system from sap 46C /oracle 10g/ non-unicode directly to ecc6 ehp7.
i have found some sap notes explain that we can do CU&UC from 46C to EHP7, but in the same time there is a sap note explain that oracle 11g is not support by 46C!!!
so if i understand well, to do CU&UC, i have to upgrade my database to 11g, and flow it with CU&UC?
or we have to upgrade to ecc6 ehp5 (support oracle 10g) before going to EHP7?

How to establish an RFC connection between SAP and Non-SAP Systems
Dear Experts,
A new module is released to know the punches data of the employees daily in our company. The Employees punch data is initially comes to SAP and then to QMS Module which is non-sap. The download of Punch data daily from sap to desktop and then desktop to QMS seems to be double work. How can i establish an RFC connection between the sap and non-sap systems(QMS module) to directly flow the data into QMS automatically from sap by RFC connections.

Permissions denied while taking backup of global directory in filesystem using brtools
Hi Sir,
After all the above works i have noticed that the DMS files are storing in the global directory location ( usr/sap/PRD/SYS/global).
Is there any possibility to take the backup of the global directory to safe the documents periodically from any external damage/crash.
If it can be done please suggest me some suggestions how to do it.

List of variant missing t-codes after upgrade
Hi ,
We are doing SAP upgrade from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 EHP5.
We found that variants are missing in upgraded system for some standard transaction codes because program name is changed for those transaction codes in ECC 6.0 ( Example - WE05 ).
We have copied the variants through Function Module 'RS_COPY_SELECTION_SETS'.
I need the list of all the standard transaction codes those are affected by upgrade and variants are not copied.
Some of the selection field values are also missing after copy of variants through function module 'RS_COPY_SELECTION_SETS' because screen field is also changed in new program ( in ECC 6.0 ).
Please let me know how can I copy the variant with all data if screen field name is also changed?

What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLSPDA" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.

Information on where terminated
The termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLSPDA" in
"UPLOAD_PARCELS_SDA".
The main program was "SAPMSSY1 ".
The termination occurred in line 250 of the source code of the (Include)
program "RSPDAF01"
of the source code of program "RSPDAF01" (when calling the editor 2500).
Processing was terminated because the exception "CX_SY_RANGE_OUT_OF_BOUNDS"
occurred in the
procedure "UPLOAD_PARCELS_SDA" "(FORM)" but was not handled locally, not
declared in the
RAISING clause of the procedure.
The procedure is in the program "SAPLSPDA ". Its source code starts in line 156
of the (Include) program "RSPDAF01 ".

The system is running on AIX 6.1, we upgraded Oracle to 11.2.0.3 beforehand.

MOPZ upgrade EHP4/NW701 to ECC6 EHP7
Hello,
We have to upgrade our system based on ECC6 EHP4/NW701 to ECC6 EHP7.
In MOPZ when select the solution, i can see products EHP4 for ECC6/NW701 and also as ERP ECC6.
so when i select product as ECC6, i can generate stack.xml but i cannot find BI_CONT component. and during upgrade i got an error from this side (upgrade ask for BI_CONT 746).
When select i select ECC6 EHP4 /NW701 the upgrade option not visible.
So how i have to generate stack.xml?

Requests cannot be released during the upgrade
Hi guys,
During an Upgrade that is currently on Preprocessing stage, a developer needs to release an urgent change. We are not able to proceed with the Upgrade due Networking issues related to IP Multicast (Kernel 740
I tried running tp unlocksys and tp unlock_eu, both returning code 0, but still getting this message?
Do i need to restart the instance or should I modify UVERS table in order to release this request?

SAP EHP Update for Large Database
Dear Experts,
We are planning for the SAP EHP7 update for our system. Please find the system details below
Source system: SAP ERP6.0
OS: AIX
DB: Oracle 11.2.0.3
Target System: SAP ERP6.0 EHP7
OS: AIX
DB: 11.2.0.3
RAM: 32 GB
The main concern over here is the DB size. It is approximately 3TB. I have already gone through forums and notes it is mentioned the DB size is not having any impact on the SAP EHP update using SUM. However am stil thinking it will have the impact in the downtime phase.
Please advise on this.

SAP Router Configuration
Dear Experts,
I have a little problem while trying to configure a new router connection to sap.
Already we have established a router connection to SAP previously in production system during the time of upgradation.
Actually we are facing a problem related to materials in our company prompting the DUMP Error whenever the transaction is executed. Our sap administrator don,t want to give the production system to sap service directly . We have a test server with us which is restored with production system backup. I want to establish the connection from the test server to sap router service.
I am unable to know how to add the hostname and public IP address to sap to configure the saprouter
Can Anyone please suggest me how to configure the new router connection to sap by deleting the previous router connectuion of production system.
