SAP 6.0 EnhP5 Support Package Level

Hi everybody!!!

I have a doubt we are planning to update SAP  support package  from our SAP ECC 6.0 EnhP5, but we only want to update SAP_HR and EA-HR, my question is: Can I update only those two SP and let the others SP without update? Is this recommended?

Upgrade ECC5 to ECC6: Issue with OADP

Dear All,

 

We are upgrading from ECC5 to ECC6.

 

While trying to access Team Calendar as Manager on the upgraded portal, below error is displayed

 

"There is no team calendar customizing for rule group ATTEND (pers. no. )"

 

Couple of Information Points:

1. SAP has introduced changes in OADP resulting in new tables in ECC6

2. A standard report RP_OADP_MIGRATE_CUSTOMIZING has been provided to transfer view/view groups from ECC5 to ECC6

3. Using this reported i have been able to resolve team calendar issue for rule groups in cutomer name space (Z*)

4. However, there is a constraint with the report that if view being transferred needs to be renamed in the Customer namespace.

Due to thsi I am not able to trabsfer ATTEND to the upgrade system.

 

Any pointers/help is appreciated.

ERP 6.0 EHP6 update

Hello all,

 

I'm updating an ERP 6.0 EHP5 system to ERP 6.0 EHP6.

In Mopz, when prompted to select technical usages, there are some that are unselectable (greyed, see attached image) whereas they are currently used in the sys with EHP5 (for instance integration package for SWIFT, Finbasis standalone, ...)Fs.png.

 

What that this mean exactly?

What are the implications of continuing the update without selecting the components ?

Dump in FB01/FB60 after upgrade from ECC6.04 to ECC6.06 SP07

Hello,

We are in an upgrde process, from ECC6.04 to ECC6.06 SP07.

Testing in DEV enviroment, we found that the standard tcodes FB01, FB60, and posting billing thru VF01, the system dumps:

 

Syntax error in program "SAPLFWTC "

The current ABAP program "SAPMF05A" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

The following syntax error occurred in program "SAPLFWTC " in include "LFWTCU01
  " in
line 312:
"Al parámetro obligatorio "FLT_VAL" no se le han proporcionado datos"

" "

The include has been created and last changed by:
Created by: "SAP "
Last changed by: "SAP "
Error in the ABAP Application Program

The current ABAP program "SAPMF05A" had to be terminated because it has

We have an OSS message for this issue but at the moment we have response.

 

Do you have any idea on haw to solved it?

ECC6 EHP6 New installation.

Hi Friends,

 

I want to install new Ecc6 EHP6 system

 

when i check for the

 

Installation master DVD,

SAP Kernal

SAP exports dvd

SAP Java components

 

Softwares i cant find them all of them in service.sap.com/swdc.Please provide me the exact place where i can get the s/w to install new system. As i know it is enough to have above software to install ehp6. Do we require any other software apart from this. Help me regarding this.please provide me a document if you have any.

kernel on shadow instance VS table SVERS content

dear experts

 

what is the kernel version in shadow system? is it the same or different than in source system?

i have a system where we run a mock upgrade and notice SVERS has status 702 in shadow and instance wouldn't come up, we thought it was due to kernel incorrect version. source system is on 640 level.

isnt it changed in downtime portion only?

EA-PS upgrade to 606

Dear Sir,

 

We need your advice.

 

Our SAP_APPL is on EhP6 (606) but the EA-PS component is on lower version 600.

 

In order to have successful integration with Plant Maintenance (at operation level), we are being advised to upgrade EA-PS component to 606.

 

We are in the midst of a project and other modules viz. FI,CO, MM, PM, QM, SD IS-Oil have all already gone live...

 

What could be the repercussions if we upgrade the EA-PS component to 606 now?

Dear Friends,

               I am upgrading EHP3 TO EHP6 ,during post processioning phase i am getting below error.

 

Severe error(s) occured in phase MAIN_SHDIMP/SUBMOD_SHD2_RUN/RUN_RSAIMMERGE_UPG_SHD!

Last error code set: RFC login to system QAS ashost IDMCQAS nr 02 gwhost IDMCQAS gwservice sapgw02 failed with code 8 key RFC_TIMEOUT: Timeout while opening a RFC connection.

 

I have change memory parameter as per note

1460004 - High memory consumption in upgrade phase RUN_RSAIMMERGE_UPG

Still i am getting same error.

Please do needful.I waiting for your  valuable reply.

ECC6.0SR1 to SR2 or SR3

Dear All,

 

Environment:

 

SAP :  ECC6.0 SR1

OS   : win2003

Oracle : 10g

 

I upgraded from 4.7 to ECC6.0 SR1.But client is asking now SR2 or SR3.Intially they are not provided SR2 or SR3 CDs.Now the project is in UAT Phase.

Whats the procedure to make SR1 system to SR2 or SR3.

 

Please anybody help me in the loop

I have upgraded Kernel to 700 -133 (win UC) but when i start sap after some time disp+work going down.
