Dear Experts,

We are facing a problem with SAPOSCOL for all newly upgraded systems (Quality, Development, and Sandbox)

The problem is that when I check in ST06 the operating system collector is not running.

When I checked the SAPOSCOL services in services applet the service is running fine there.

Dear All,

We have recently upgaded  ECC6 to EHP5.

Our production system is on HA environment.

After upgradation PRD system is working fine.

But application server is not able to start. During upgrade New Kernel is also copied on Application Server by upgrade tool.

Currently kernel version is same on Both the instance.

Database is already started. Main instance is also started and user are able to logon and work.

We are getting following error when start SAP :

Hello admins,

I need urgent help.

I want to migrate an old system R/3 Enterprise 6.20 (DB2 on Win X64) only ABAP.

Im getting this error:

MOS-01012  'D:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\exe\run/R3ldctl.exe -l ./R3ldctlExport.log -p D:\Export/DATA/ ' returned with '2' which is not a defined as a success code.

In R3ldctlExport.log file, Im getting: ERROR: DbSlConnect rc= 29

On Enviroment variables, I have:

The report SMIGR_CREATE_DDL was ran with no .ddl created and no invalid table on SE14

We are performing an upgrade from ECC5 to ECC6 (enhancement pk 6).  We are getting a common error with FI postings for inventory movements in MM.  We get the error KI235 - Account xxxxxx requires an assignment to a CO object.

I think to fix the problem is fairly straightforward, but what is puzzling us is why we are getting the error in ECC6 when we did not receive the error in ECC5.  What standard functionality changed to cause the error?

Hello,

We are on SAP R/3 enterprise 4.7x200 , OS - Solaris, DB - Oracle 10g and planning to go on SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6 , OS - Linux/AIX, DB - ORacle 11g.

Thus, I want to know about the compatibility of the SAP Router for ERP 6 EHP 6. (ie 606).

Our current SAP Router version is 700 and I would like to know if this is compatible with ERP 6 EHP 6 or should we upgrade to latest SAP Router 720 ?

I did research on SCN forums, notes but could not find information on this.

P.S - I believe SAP Router version should not be a concern and there should be no compatibility with the SAP Product Releases.

Error in the ABAP Application Program

 

The current ABAP program "SAPLKEDR" had to be terminated because it has

come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

A field symbol that was not assigned was accessed

(data segment no. "-1").

 

The field symbol is no longer assigned because there was an attempt

makde previously in a Unicode program to set the field symbol using

ASSIGN with offset and/or length specification. Here, the memory

addressed by the offset/length specification was not within the

allowed area.

We are going to perform EHP6 upgrade shortly. Currently we have lot of security-related SAP HotNews and Notesrecommended to implement as a part EWA report.

Now I wish to know when we perform the EHP6 upgrade, some/all of these security notes will be implemented as a part of upgrade.  OR the upgrade will not have any impact on the recommendations and we have to do them manually.

I also heard that all these recommendations are required to be implemented as a pre-requisite to EHP6 upgrade.

For example, I want to get the Jobs that are processing inbound idoc type WMMBXY using program RBDAPP01 or RBDMANI2.

In that i have got the error size of shared pool 10 and 40 is too small

Solution was given to Locate shared memory pool outside pool 10 with parameter like : ipc/shm_psize10=136000000.

I need urgent help.

I want to migrate an old system R/3 Enterprise 6.20 (DB2 on Win X64) only ABAP.

Im getting this error:

MOS-01012  'D:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\exe\run/R3ldctl.exe -l ./R3ldctlExport.log -p D:\Export/DATA/ ' returned with '2' which is not a defined as a success code.

In R3ldctlExport.log file, Im getting: ERROR: DbSlConnect rc= 29

On Enviroment variables, I have:

DB2CODEPAGE                           819

DB2INSTANCE                            db2sid

I changed in ..\exe\run the R3ldctl (version 34), R3load (version 149) and R3szchk (version 35). I changed these executables also in the installation master folder (51043575_15_InstallMaster). Kernel version 640_404.

The report SMIGR_CREATE_DDL was ran with no .ddl created and no invalid table on SE14

Hi All,

We are planning to perform a upgrade in our landscape, in our current environment we are running with the SAP version as 4.6C NUC, OS is running as AIX 6.1.7.4 and DB2 version is 9.5, and we are planning to go for the target version as EHP6 UC.

I am sure first thing we have to meet the OS and DB and then have to plan for the SAP upgrade. With the experience, I am sure the most challenging part will be a combined upgrade & Unicode Conversion, because the database size is running with 4.5TB.

However, I am looking for the experts opinion to take it and plan for it further.

Please share your thoughts

Current Landscape :

SAP / OS & DB : SAP R/3 4.6C  - NUC / AIX 6.1.7.4 and DB2 as 9.5

Target Landscape

SAP / OS & DB : SAP ERP 6.0 With EHP6 - Unicode

Step 1 : OS / DB upgrade (Preferably In place upgrade as System copy export and Import will take longer time as the DB size is huge). Also, I believe in my case - First I will upgrade DB from 9.5 to 9.7 (Which is supported for R/3 4.6c and also EHP6 - OS is not needed as 6.1 is suppported for both source and target versions)
Step 2 : EHP6 upgrade  with CU&UC

Step 3 : Parallel export / Import or ICNV for the system copy

Assumptions :

Enough hardware disk space can be attached for the upgrade purpose
