2EETG050 Update records still exist - Please process.

 

There is no SM13 nor SMQ1 entries in the system, also reorganiezed update records, also checked following.

Spool Request Attributes - How to set defaults for all users?

In ECC 6.0 when a user wants to run a background job, the print attributes that appear by default are insufficient for their needs.  Currently in our system, we simply get the output device, number of copies and number of pages option. 

 

Users want to choose Title, Format, Retention Period, Storage Mode etc.

 

Is there a way to set the default print attributes for the entire user community to avoid having each user hit the Properties button, then navigate the General Properties tree to select the options they want, and then save the them as defaults?

 

Are there any Parameter IDs that can be used for this? If so, specifics?

SAP ERP 6.0 IDES SYSTEM COPY ERROR

Hi gurus

 

   i recently installing sap ecc6.0 ides, we are installing with system copy method

   the issue is we got one error, but the thing system working fine , while installation

   last phase it was asking DDIC error. i have give password for DDIC it was not accepting..

   and displays a error.  i have attach the screen shot . the thing  system is working fine iam able to

  login with 800.i am in a state of dilama is this instalation correct or not?

Upgrading SAP ECC 6 IDES SR3 (kernel)

Hello Everyone,

 

I am currently performing an installation of the SAP ECC 6 IDES SR3 (MS SQL) on Windows 2008 R2.  I have reached the installation point where the creation of the SAPJSF user is failing and the UserCheck.log indicates that jlaunch.exe failed with rc -1.  Research on SCN has noted that this is a common issue and needs a kernel upgrade to be applied.

 

Therefore, I went to the SAP download center and searched "SAP KERNEL 7.00 64-BIT UNICODE".  I noted in thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/1212728 that I have to download 2 files to upgrade the kernel:

 

SAPEXE

SAPEXEDB

 

The issue is that I'm not sure which of the files I need to download from the downloads area.  Can someone advise me as to which of the below files I will need to patch the kernel?

During SPS7 upgrade for ECC6.0 I am facing error message in "Extraction" phase, your help definitly help.

Batch job RSVBCHCK failed during the upgrade

Hello,

 

I am upgrading my server to ERP 6 EHP6.
Source version is SAP ECC6 with EHP4 SP11. Upgrading to EHP6 SP5.         
During the Preprocessing phase I am stuck in the phase                 
MAIN_INIT/JOB_RSVBCHCK2. I find the following log:-        

CHECK OF UPDATE TASK ERRORS and RETURN CODE in RSVBCHCK.EV1

Transport request problem

Hi All,

 

iam working on 3 system land scape.(dev, qas,prd).with ecc 6.0.ehp 3..

 

my problem is ,

 

we have 2 clients in Quality like, 300 and 400.

 

one of my functional consultant created Customizing request in Development , he want that request in only 300 Quality only,  useing stms i immported to Quality 300 only, but that Transport request is effecting in Quality 400 also..He don't want in 400.., he wants in 300 only...how to fix this problem...and how to avoid this problem in stms, if import 300 , it is effecting into 400 also...how to avoid this...please provide the solution with detaile information..

 

 

for this any configuration changes i need to do...please let me ....

Dear All,

 

Existing Landscape:

 

OS: HP-UX 11.23

DB- Oracle 9.2.0.6

SAP R3 4.7 ext 2.00 (Non Unicode)

 

Target Release:

 

OS HP-UX 11.31

DB- Oracle 11.2.0.2

SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5 (Unicode)

 

I have planned the sequence mentioned below:

 

 

a) Unicode Pre Conversion Phase

b) UCCHECK, SPUMG, Data conversion

c) Adapting custom programs to unicode

d) Export of  Development Server

e) Uninstall SAP and Database Server

f) Import Development server  R3 4.7 ext 2.00 with unicode version and Oracle 11.2.0.2

g) Unicode Conversion Post Conversion and Completion Phase (SUMG)

i) Upgrade Development system from SAP R3 4.7 to SAP ECC 6.0 EHP5

k) OS upgrade to 11.31

 

Reason for this strategy:

a) 11.31 does not support 9i so OS upgrade at last

b) R3 4.7 ext 2.00 supports 11g as per SAP Note 1478351 , so we can import r3 unicode with 11g

c) if  SAP system equal to r3 4.7 or higher, SAP recommends to perform Non unicode to unicode before upgrade.

 

 

Kindly suggest whether this strategy will work or it can be done in other way so that we can minimize downtime period.

Hi

Im using SUM tool for release upgrade. In extration phase it gave error "Unable to execute the SDT request ABAP operation extract on hostname GILSAPED instance 00 Extraction of the ABAP upgrade request ABAP has failed Error from unit observer Tool died unexpectedly with ERROR: No support for DB type ''

 

My OS is AIX and DB is oracle 10.2

Hi All,

 

I am upgrading ERP system from ECC5 to ERP 6 Ehp6 on windows 2008 / Oracle 11.2.0.2 environment using SUM. I am getting the below error from file EX000009.DPR in SUM log folder at "Severe error(s) occured in phase MAIN_SHDCRE/EU_IMPORT1!" Phase. I have been through various post and note # 1871448 - Error: SAPup broke during phase EU_IMPORT1 in module MAIN_SHDCRE, but to no avail. Would like to get comment and help in resolving this issue.

Size needed to upgrade Sap R/3 4.7c NUC to SAP ecc6 ehp 5!

Dear experts,

I upgrade my sap system.

 

Current enviroment:

SAP: R/3 4.7c NUC

OS: Windows server

DB: MSSQL

DB Size: 2.5 TB.

 

Target:

SAP: ecc6 ehp5 "in-place upgrade" NUC

 

I don't care about time but very care about size, Anyone know free space required for drive contain system & upgrade folder and drive contain database to perform in-place upgrade??

Phase 'PREP_EXTRACT/PREIMP' aborted - R3trans aborted -11

Dear Experts,

 

I am using SAP SUM SP08 to upgrade SAP R/3 4.6C to SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6. We running on AIX 6.1.

 

I have upgraded the Oracle database to 11.2.0.3 with Oracle Client 11.2.0.3 and upgraded the R/3 Kernel to 4.6D_EX2 PL2641.

 

Now. when I am using the SUM, it aborts at phase PREP_EXTRACT/PREIMP with the following error:

 

Severe error(s) occured in phase PREP_EXTRACT/PREIMP!

Last error code set: R3trans aborted with exit code -11

 

I have Kernel patched to the latest available patch level and used both SUM SP07 PL5 and SUM SP08.

 

Any advice that can help us to get through this is highly appreciated.

Creating Transport of Copies after EHP imp[lementation

Dear Experts

One quick question about this issue.

If I have atransport, released before the implementation of the EHP6, when I make a copy of the released transport (transport of copies) after the implementation, the "upgraded" version of the objects will be included, Correct?

I can give you the reasons for this question if you are interested.

disp + work processes starts and stops immediately.

Hi all,

 

 

I have installed ECC 6.0 on RHEL 5 with oracle 10.2 database.

 

when i start the instance all other work processes working fine but disp + work starts and stops after sometime .
I have checked it through ps -ef|grep dw.
